November UberRecap

I’m going to start doing a brief recap at the end of every month. I’ll talk about posts new readers may have missed, what happened with this blog, plans for the blog, what’s happening in my affiliate life, and what I plan to have happen. Let’s get to it then.

Posts You May Have Missed

November was a month of…interesting posts and traffic I’d have to say. It all started with the alleged FeedBurner Fake that was sparked after my John Chow Review. People apparently didn’t understand that it was a ridiculous joke, and starting calling me a liar. That didn’t really help out when I tried to post an Earnings Screenshot after asking Why My Blog Wasn’t Growing. John Chow was nice to come in and give me some Back Up, but as I learned there will always be non-believers.

As far as informational posts, there were actually quite a few. Are you failing as an affiliate? There may be a few reasons why. I went through and answered a few questions in a Video Post, ’twas my first one. Then came ad:tech, and I came back with a pretty lengthy Review. In the mood to hear any more Frequently Asked Questions? Or maybe just a one minute Quick Tip that can save you some cash from Adwords. Next came my series on getting money out of gurus, which consisted of Getting Money Out of Guru Bloggers and Getting Money Out of Guru Affiliates. Then to top the month off, I posted a couple of Misc. Ways to Make Money Online.

Enough links for you yet??!! That’s some UberLinkage right there.

Affiliate Marketing Recap for November and Plans for December

November was a great Q4 month, some great things happened and some barriers were smashed. Spent a lot of money testing and was only making ~$2,000 profit/day in the beginning of the month, but all the testing paid off because now things are rolling at over $5,000 profit/day. I have a couple of offers that I am VERY excited to start up hopefully in the next couple weeks, and I’m hoping to gross my first $500,000 month to finish off the year. I’m not posting any real numbers to show off of any of that garbage, I just want to show you guys what real growth looks like when some of my tactics are put to use. I’m not going to give you everything, but I do follow everything that I post in my blog. It seems like when somebody posts their progress about going from $50/day to $200/day everybody pats them on the back and says nice job, but when somebody posts bigger figures, they’re always just a showoff when going from 100k to 400k is the same growth, just on a much different scale.

Blog Plans for December

I’m pretty much going to keep doing what I’ve been doing. Blog has been growing pretty nicely, up to 600 readers today which is really nice. I’d really like to get over the 1,000 mark though, so hopefully I’ll have some articles that you guys really like. I want to write one up about landing pages since that’s what people mention a lot. I’d also like to write a short guide on starting up affiliate campaigns when you’re on a more restricted budget and don’t have $10,000 to just “throw in”. So keep an eye out for articles like that this month.

So that was a recap of the month, hope you all are enjoying Q4 as well!

awesome work man! Quick question, when you say testing, what the hell does that mean?

are you testing out to see if a landing page converts? are you testing to see if the affiliate manager will give you a better cut?

are you testing to see how far you can push whatever PPC networks your using?

    Can you be more specific?

I’m “testing”, too. Or rather … getting tested. damn google and their quality scores. damn right … I’m very feeling very tested.

    thanks Paul

I like the blog just fine. Keep doing exactly what you are doing. I have enjoyed keeping up with your fame and fortune. As a side not, I would love to see a post about how you made things legal from an income stand point. I just starting doing real well the last couple of months (xx,xxx) and have no idea how to go about finding an accountant, setting up an LLC, etc. I would love to hear how you did it (in a post or just an email). Thanks again for contributing back to the community.

I look for a new tracking system, could someone help me?

    Hi Paul,

it is great to hear that you will go on with blogging like you did before, because on some previous posts it didn’t look like you want to go on with blogging.

I am also looking forward to see some postings about testing and landing pages. Would be nice to see an example (of course not some real campaigns) like you are building up a landing page where the user has to click through to the offer.

One short point: Some links in this posting are not working, because at the end of the link you have a [br] tag.

    Hey buddy,

Reading your blog for 2 weeks. What can I say. I like it. Maybe because we are let’s say same generation ( I’m 22 ), or because you say stuff straightforward. Also that I don’t mention content that is good.

If Zac Johnson reads your blog then it’s worth it also :-), just to remove negative side what people say about it.

Aside from that, keep up the good work buddy.

    All the best,
    Hrvoje

Hi, I just started reading your blog, and its fantastic. I am going to jump into adsense/affiliate marketing in mid-december and I’ll make sure to check for new tips here every day. As you said in your post I am most interested in hearing more about landing pages. Thanks for all you do.

It’s been an interesting month and I think it will only get better. I’m eagerly awaiting more articles. Keep on posting.

  16. December 2, 2007

Good to see another blog with decent content unlike most of the other ones out there like john chow posting no real info and a ton of ads with 10k DP fanbois cheering him on.

    Keep it real.

  17. December 2, 2007

    Wow,

gnarly way to end the month man. Congrats on ALL your success. Just keep doing what your doing man, the blog will continue to grow as long as you keep talking. There will always be negatives but being at the age you are, people like that are going to sorely regret it as you continue to grow, adapt and evolve. Great stuff man, look forward to more.

    Best,
    Ruck

  26. December 3, 2007

  27. December 3, 2007

  28. December 3, 2007

    Sounds good man.

    Can’t wait to see.

  29. December 3, 2007

Money is not the problem for me. Converting it is the problem… If I could turn 20 into 30 I would do it everyday…

  30. December 6, 2007

I cant wait for the post about how to start campaigns for people without large sums of money to “throw in”!

  31. December 1, 2009

I’m glad you are really making a lot online…
why you haven’t updated these posts in a while….? and why not writing a small ebook summarizing the steps you have taken to implement your campaigns and how you started online? That would help many of us!
