All I’m Saying Is…

This is another virtually pointless post, yes. I’ve promised posts and more frequent posting and just haven’t lived up to it.

I’m just making this post to say: I still have plans on blogging more in the future. I’ve learned A LOT of information that I can definitely share. Right now I’m just too busy to really think about anything else but my main projects. A project 5 months into the making is going to launch in the near future (for real this time) so it’s like cramming for finals week in my head right now.

Once things cool down I’ll be able to relax and get to blogging more. Priorities folks…gotta win the bread.

This post will be totally useless without some usable piece of affiliate marketing information so here it goes: something I’ve been experimenting with in a few small affiliate side projects is collecting email address information and THEN shooting them to the affiliate offer (“You’re getting a free [blah blah], just enter your name and e-mail address to continue!”). It seems there are quite a few people out there doing this. E-mail them with some “Welcome” packet of affiliate offers, sub them to your list and just mail out more affiliate offers. Plus make commissions off whatever offer you send them to after you capture the name/email. There’s almost always higher payouts for email only offers too. Something to think about and test.

Sorry for being lame.

    >>Sorry for being lame.

Dont worry about it, it’s not your fault. :)

I am expecting more post , because blogging is now social responsibility and make you to share some ides with the world

  4. August 6, 2010

Building an email list for affiliate marketing is just the beginning of the conversation. It has lot more to do with the longevity of the business when you start working with emails.

I’ve heard about 3 or 4 affiliate blogs talk about this in the past week and it can’t be coincidence. Affiliates seem to be waking up to the fact that emails are where the business is really at. Sending your traffic to a pre sales page or direct link is stupid because the advertiser will just catch their information whether or not they buy.

I could talk forever about why collecting emails is what everyone needs to be doing, but this is your blog…

  5. August 6, 2010

It’s not all that bad a post, you gave some good info at the end on using list-building in your affiliate campaigns. Maybe next post you could expand on this a bit, I would be interested to know how it effects your affiliate buy ratio.

  6. August 10, 2010

It happens man, thanks for giving us an update, definitely looking forward to when you are finally able to blog on a more consistent basis :)

Just chill out and blog at peace when the mood is right for it. One needs a certain frame of mind to do certain things and the words just won’t flow when the mood isn’t right for it.

  11. August 15, 2010

Not a bad post at all, building a list is a great way to offer your product and get a few sales especially if you have a big list you are bound to get a few sales. Also you should not feel forced to post a blog, blog when you have a chance and when you feel its right.

  12. August 16, 2010

Priorities call and I do understand. Thanks for keeping us updated, though!

Was this your way of saying “I’m not making any money online anymore, I am a slacker, I have lost my steam like these other geniuses like Amit Mehta and can’t do this crap anymore. Its depressing, and I think a change of career is needed since this online shit has dried up. Would love to know if this was what you were implying.

  21. September 11, 2010

Ultimately this guys responsibility is to himself, let’s be honest here – there is no social responsibility. This chap offers a lot of value on his blog, telling him your expectations for which you offer nothing in return isn’t exactly fair play is it?

Don’t you think that this activity goes under spam flag? What do you think what will be the conversion ratio? I use to e-mail my list of customers back in 1990 and got 2% response through sales. But then it all stopped due to spam folder. Now, users don’t even open those unwanted e-mails.

  39. October 15, 2010

What has been going on with this site? It goes down all the time.

  47. October 26, 2010
