Add me on SphinnOk so I stayed up until 4am working on this, and then woke up this morning and was determined to work on it until it was finished. Now only 1 question remains: how did I do? Keep in mind there’s still a couple small kinks I have to work out. Let me know what you like and what you’d change, and we’ll get that all over with and get back to the affiliate marketing posts (I have a big one planned soon so stick tight). The poll worked decently the first time, so let’s have another go with it :

Looks much better and is much easier to read. Keep up the good work, I discoverd your blog from shoemoney and appreciate your efforts to help people make money thru affiliate advertising

To be honest, the right side bar is WAY to wide for us using laptops. That is taking advertising to a huge extreme and may persuade me to no longer visit. Ads should compliment the content, not overpower them.

Overall - a big improvement, especially the white background.
I do tend to agree with Jeremy (above) to some degree. See problogger.net for inspiration.
Also - text could be just a little bit larger and a little bit darker, and personally I prefer Arial.

Alright I’ve done a little switching and swaping with the ads, just put them along the side.
Next week I’ll work on making the sidebar as a whole less wide, as I do agree that the area with the posts is a little too narrow.

I kind of like it. I’m really tempted to go black on white with my blog as well but it’s been white on black for so long that I feel it’s part of it’s personality…

Category headings seem a bit oversized, and I’m on a pretty high res so I dread to think how big they are on low res. Also, lots of white space - is this intentional? You could be wasting a bit of ‘prime’ space above the fold. It’s quite nice, but in general I think you could optimise the space a bit better.

It’s not bad, but I like the old one much more. I really love the old color scheme and this new one looks a little ‘bloated’ imo.

Sidebar is now smaller and font switched to Arial.

The text in the right column gets cut off when viewing in IE6 at 1024 x 768. Otherwise it looks great! Keep up the good work.

…also just noticed the body text for all of your posts gets cut off as well in IE6 at 1024 x 768 (but it looks fine in Firefox).

yeah, I’m working on IE…I really hate it - everyone should convert to FireFox for SO many reasons.
