It can be rewarding and a great soapbox, but the effort spent doesn't really justify the traffic and the ad revenue, at least in my case. I am constantly amazed though at how many ppl are commenting and e-mailing me asking for a plug to their site. I run a small blog that doesn’t have anything to do with affiliate marketing, and I find that I agree with a lot of what you said.
