Facebook Article on Shoemoney - Questions

(22) Comments... Have Your Say! ~ September 24th, 2007

Hey guys. If you didn’t see I did a guest post on Shoemoney about Facebook here.

If you have any questions about anything just post a comment and I’ll answer it.

Also, as of right now I do not advise using any of these methods on Facebook, as it seems they are taking actions against affiliates (Facebook staff has gone to a post at Wickedfire telling those that they have personal information and are acting), so I’d stay away from it until everything clears.

I commented over at SM but always wanted to say here - the stats and numbers you posted were freaking insane. I’m still speechless!

Kudos to you! How long did you have things running before it stopped working? Also, you may find the surge in traffic offers some long term benefits to you…I would think instant guru status :)

How many days were you able to do this? Can you tell us your final dollar amount?

Thanks for sharing!

It was running for a week maybe before it died?

The final dollar amount was…enough :-).

Nah. I have a lawyer and they have no good reason to sue me.

I really liked your post over at SM. I liked the rhythm of the blog. Did you ever get your profit? They should’ve given it to you, I mean you did work hard for it. I think that’s the most important point.

I’ll take a look at your site. It looks pretty clean and nice.

What would they sue for? Even if you violated the terms of service, they were the ones who took your money for advertising to their precious members without checking you out to see if you were legitimate or not, so I don’t see that they would even have any basis to sue.

Congratulations on having the vision to notice the opportunity and then taking the necessary action, I’m envious :)

I asked in my blog post - who do you reckon will be first to come out with a special report or ebook about Facebook Flyers?

I just wish I could hit one thing like that. I mean, it’s not like I need to get that 10,000/day like Amit gets but wow you hit it big quick and fast.

Great job. congratulations.

Great blog.

I am thinking of trying to do a page similiar to this. I don’t know of any affiliates for scholarships either. Any advice? I am new to this but have a site I can buy impressions on that I would like to try with.

Nah, I’m not really messing with Facebook anymore. People IM me all the time and tell me they keep trying and keep getting banned before they can see any good results.

Great post you had there on ShoeMoney. Facebook marketing definitely started out great, it’s a shame they are so anal about their system, but you can definitely bank hard if you find the right offer and get your ad copy through their filters. Oh, and I lol’d pretty loud when the post went on to talk about how you automated the process =)

That was great stuff you did on Facebook!

I was already too late to jump on the Facebook bandwagon thing.

We learn from this that if you want to make a great amount of money, make sure you join the opportunity in an early stage before everyone else is doing it or rules are changed by the owner of the website.

Some how same thing happen with Myspace in the past that the average guy was able to bank $25,000 per month from it. But we should worry, new opportunities like this will definitely come again…
