Hey, really cool interview, that’s why I wanted to checkout your blog. You seemed like a pretty straightforward dude who knows what your talking about. You definitely got some mad skills/smarts for this industry to achieve what you have in the short amount of time.

There’s some really great stuff in your archives, I’ve been reading some of them but will comeback when I’ve got more time. Looking forward to reading some of your new posts too. :)

Can you tell us more about your struggles to get a merchant account (MID)?

I’m sure your business type is an auto-decline since it’s not an accepted business type if you use the standard channels.

However, have you tried going with a high risk merchant account provider or overseas provider?

There has to be someone that will take you if you accept a certain reserve level and start smaller, i.e., put a lower amount on the anticipated volume amount.

If casinos can accept credit cards you should be able to get it done. Don’t give up.

Check out the greensheet.com forum as well.

[…I don’t really enjoy being on the phone. Especially with business decisions, I like to think before I say something…]”

    ^^^This

@Jeremy, in regards to that answer… that’s why Internet marketing is so great… because you don’t have to do the “normal” routine and approach, as we have the time to ponder with email responses/im boxes.

Enjoyed reading the interview. I agree about the phone part. Always prefer talking in person or e-mail as both let you interact on a higher level than the phone. Wishing you more success.

I think it is great that they made it right with you by paying back the money you lost in the exchange rate due to their error. I have had many company’s say that it isn’t their problem in the past. I was reading the part that said the credit card company wouldn’t cover it, and was sure buydomains.com was going to say they wouldn’t help you but I was happy to see they made it right. I think it’s great you gave them a positive post for doing the right thing, making the customer happy. I won’t forget this if I ever plan to do business with them in the future.
