Adwords Support – Get It!

Many people always ask questions dealing with their Adwords account. Some people ask “Google declined my ads, what do I do to get them back up and running?”, or “Google randomly killed my campaign, how do I fix this?” Most people use emails, which suck and Adwords will get back to you in a week and not help you at all. I can’t tell you how many lives I’ve saved by giving people more Adwords contact information. Because email isn’t the only way to get in touch with them – they have a phone number AND a live chat option. First here’s the phone number that I call :

Adwords Phone Number :
1 (866) 246-6453

There ya go, call them up and tell them your troubles. They can actually be pretty helpful. If you don’t want the long distance call, or just don’t feel like talking on the phone, there’s a live chat option, here’s step-by-step how I get there (maybe there’s a faster way, but I just do it this way) :

Step 1 – Click the “Help” tab at the top of the Adwords main page.

This will bring up a little pop up box.

Step 2 – Click on “My Ads Aren’t Showing”

Step 3 – Click on “Why can’t I see my ad?”

Step 4 – Click “Chat with a specialist now”

And there you have it. Just enter in your info and chat away with a live Adwords representative. Hopefully now you guys don’t have to sit waiting long hours for emails that all in all won’t give you any solution to your problem. If something is messed in your Adwords account, just complain to them through the methods I showed you!

this will be a nice post to reference considering I am getting “The Google AdSense website is temporarily unavailable. Please try back later. We apologize for any inconvenience.” and have been most of the morning.

    Yeah they’re undergoing maintenance today.

  5. January 12, 2008

Is there an AdSense live chat too?

  6. January 12, 2008

My issue is with Adsense, not adwords. Would my issue be resolved using this line?

I guess I am not in the loop. Need to get more in loop… After the 15th of February should devote all my time to learning this and getting it down.

  8. January 12, 2008

No idea, I’m not an Adsense guy.

  9. January 12, 2008

Searched through google webmaster tool and the only thing i could find was e-mail, forum or blog support for adsense.

I don’t see the “chat with a specialist” button. When I go to that page, it has everything in your screen shot except for that yellow box.

YES! Thank you for these tips. I’m always having troubles with Adsense and always just emailed them. Great to know that there are other sources of faster contact.

Wow, just noticed your feed at 816! Great work man! You’re a inspiration!

I’d definitely recommend phone support over emails anytime, not just with AdWords, you can simply achieve far better results by talking to a support person over the phone.

Until few months ago, I was not aware of Google Adwords have a phone support. I read this through some other blog. I am calling them almost every week for my Adwords account. Thanks for Sharing.

    Nice post.

I didn’t know how easy it was to contact Google.
Yahoo has the same type of contact. Suprisingly they are quick to answer.

    Keep up the posts!

Thanks Paul, thats awesome, much easier to refer people to the acutal live chat. thats great appreciate the tip.

  19. January 13, 2008

Its sure deeply nested within the help lol.

  20. January 13, 2008

Honestly did not know that there was an option for Live Chat within Aswords. You would think they would make it a little more easier to access rather than nest within the help topics.

  21. January 13, 2008

Maybe they’re just trying to save a buck by hoping that most people don’t notice it and, as such, they can get away with hiring fewer people :)

  24. January 16, 2008

Thanks for that – I’ve never had to to speak to them in the past, but after setting up a new account, using the same keywords I am having problems I didn’t have before.

Time to give them a call.

…thanks for checking out my blog too by the way!

  25. January 17, 2008

This is really cool, getting the reps online and get issues resolved.

  26. March 6, 2008

The chat thing no longer is there! Hahahaha. Darn.

  27. July 11, 2008

Ah… The chat is only there during normal support hours. It still works.
