Free $50 Adwords Voucher – Round 2

Time to give away another $50 Adwords voucher. Actually…let’s give away two of them, so $100 to the winner. To answer questions, they are the ones where you have to create a new account to use it. So just make a new account, blow the $50 on a couple keywords and move on. To win the voucher, you must answer the following question in a comment :

What’s the most important thing you’ve learned from this blog?

I’ll pick out one favorite and declare them the winner. I’ll just do it in the comments so keep an eye out there, no sense in making another post for it. I’ll make the submission deadline by the end of Saturday.

Good luck!

That affiliate marketing is still a lucrative and achievable business. I only started taking it seriously when I began reading posts on Uber Affiliate. :)

If I take on Halo 3 I’ve got a chance to succeed.

The best thing I have learned from your blog (and accompanying stories) is that sometimes the best kept secrets (facebook) should be kept a secret. I think everyone can learn a valuable lesson from that.

Not to give up when testing many offers and they all fail I’d say. A lot of other blogs tend to focus on the bloggers successes but what they don’t mention is how often they have to ‘fail’ and lose cash in order to find a profiteable offer.

This is probably the most inspiring fact I’ve taken from your blog as it gives me the belief that no matter how many offers haven’t worked I’m only one away from the $200k revenue a month offer…

Hey what does it take to get the $50 voucher?

Hmm, I’ve been seeing sites giving out coupons and codes but I wonder how do you secure such things?

I logged in my CJ and all the coupon is greyed out..

I guess u have to be a super affiliate to get access to those options huh?

  6. December 7, 2007

Affiliate Marketing takes hard work and you can blow heaps trying to get there. Once you succeed though, the returns are great as you are ‘almost’ making a riskless return that ‘almost’ scales infinitely.

  7. December 7, 2007

Test, test and test those landing pages because you can always increase the CTR on them.

  8. December 7, 2007

Most important? It’s gotta be to just get off your ass and do it! Thats what I did 2 nights ago funnily enough.

I picked 2 pretty non-monetized niches that had a decent CPA. Setup 2 domains for the landing pages and began setting up the content for those pages.

Would I have actually done these small but significant steps without a small shove? I dunno, but probably not!

(Next step, spend some money on keywords and see if I can make any cash!)

Practically everything I know about affiliate marketing I’ve learned from this blog. I have a folder in my favorites links titled Affiliate Marketing and it has one link. https://uberaffiliate.com/affiliate-marketing-guide/uber-affiliate-marketing-guide/
Thanks for sharing the knowledge Paul.

Hmmm from this blog that I read daily I’d have to say the most important thing i’ve learned from it is to have some balls. You need to go out and grab what you want and not wait for it to come to you, because it never will.

Oh and halo3 is the best game ever invented, EVER. have a nice day :)

Affiliate marketing takes a lot of work to be successful. You have to be dedicated to the challenge and not let yourself become unmotivated if you are not successful right off the start.

  12. December 7, 2007

I think the most valuable thing I’ve learned here is to JUST DO IT. You can read and read all you want, but you will never get anywhere until you do something. Fate is in your own hands

I have learned that to REALLY succeed in this business, one must approach this as a business and not as a hobby. I have also learned that there are a lot of ungrateful people in the world. Thanks for what you do Paul.

I believe there would be loads of trial and error in Affiliate Marketing.

Nobody has the right answer – but an error is costly in affiliate marketing as compared to paid blogging or other kind of online venture..

Think of all the advertising money that you have put in – all went to waste, that would be a huge bummer. I made a few mistakes in the past and it’s pretty painful..

There are still ways to make money and lots of them. There are ways to start out and ways to make money once you are going at it. You have to actually do something to make money though, and the site has given mad motivation for that.

  20. December 7, 2007

Wow, what a broad topic. I’ve learned tons from this blog. This blog was one of the inspirations that helped me get my blog going in the very beginning and is still a huge inspiration to this day. The affiliate marketing stories that you put up are some of the most informative stories on the Net.

PS – Oh yeah, the German keeps the fish! ;)

  21. December 7, 2007

That Affiliate Marketing is all about Trial & Error and you don’t have to be in the game for years to hit it big. You can’t go in wondering how you are going to do long term, just worry about making that cash money now and it will all work out in the long run with hard work. Unfortunately I already knew Halo 3 is the best game ever but you helped prove my point.

I also learned that by advertising my company Ads4dough in your 125×125 banner space has gotten me some nice new affiliates!

  22. December 7, 2007

That there are only 3 rules to succeed in affiliate marketing:

    1) Test
    2) Learn
    3) Repeat

That you have to try it for yourself and try to make your first dollar online. Then, you have to test, retest and test some more. And that perseverance is you best friend in this business.

    I’m gonna make it!

  24. December 7, 2007

The most important thing I’ve learned is to ‘think outside the box’. I’ve also gotten started, I just don’t have landing pages as of yet.

  25. December 7, 2007

Why I deserve the $100 adwords cash more than the 24 people before me, and everyone after me.

I think the greatest thing about UA (not to be confused with a urine analysis, which is notably far less valuable to an affiliate marketer.) is that it paints a realistic and viable picture for the aspiring affiliate.

I can come to this blog, and get a ton of information (not only through the in depth posts, but also the community’s comments) on nearly every aspect of starting and running a promotion.

Between the UberAffiliate Marketing Guide and the numerous posts on how to be successful with adwords, this has helped shape every aspect of my current and future promotions. Your adwords techniques have helped me obtain a 2.9% CTR, when before my CTRs were avg. around 0.5% (and .06& on my worst campaign).

Basically the most important thing I’ve learned from this blog, is that I if I follow, and implement the information contained in this every growing blog, I too can become an UberAffiliate (v2.0) with enough time, patience, and practice.

The most important thing I’ve learned from Paul is that 3 in 4 things you try will fail. Just starting out, my first three attempts bombed and I started to throw in the towel. After reading Paul’s advice, I give tha fourth time a try and, sure enough, it worked. Jackpot baby.

I have started to learn how to earn money with affiliate programs.

I was an adsense guru. now i have discovered that affiliate marketing is far better then adsense. I am not saying that i have started to earn millions , but it is a lot better then adsense.

    Example:
I have a few high traffic websites where i run adsense. I am earning between 1000-2000 thousand $ per month from adsense.
From a short time i have placed 2 links from 2 advertisers, and the money i have earned in this short period is a lot better then 2000 $

I have read two other blogs: shoemoney, and johnchow, but since have discovered your website they doesn’t exist anymore for me.

Personally i want you to congratulate you for your nice information you place in this blog. i have discovered your blog when you have changed your feedburner image with photoshop.

Well let me tell you something. you have done a great job. i have done in my life the same things and i have earned a lot with this type of tricks. And to be honest i am using this type of tricks further.

The most important think in affiliate marketing in my opinion is that you need to be a honest ” thief ”
You can succeed in affiliate marketing only if you use this type of tricks.

I am using too some tricks to see my other competitors pages ( like reverse Ip, and other tools ). Believe me that you have disclosed only 30 % from this tricks in your post.

Another good think i have learned in this blog is that you need to focus on your work and not to hear what other guys says.
Keep up the good work my friend, and try to post the same good information in this blog as usual

I have done a bet with some friends of mine to see if your blog will be more popular then shoemoney and johnchow. The dead line is the end of january.
if your alexa rank will be less then 5000, then you will have a beer from me.

    Thanks
    Razvan

    Success takes time and patience.

Oh yeah, and when you find a great affiliate marketing opportunity, don’t blog about it until the party is over, ie Facebook :)

THAT IS WHAT IVE ALWAYS THOUGHT THE WHOLE TIME: I was trying to figure out what makes you ‘think outside the box’. And for the most part, I couldn’t figure it out.

But then it became crystal clear- you create a new strategy while under a lack of oxygen to your head whenever you have that utterly disgusting mix of random stuff that you like to call ‘breakfast’

MIX RANDOM CRAP IN A BOWL = SUPER AFFILIATE.

    duh.

  33. December 8, 2007

I learned that Paul is probably a better super-affiliate than me and yeah… I’m not a total noob. Whilst I’ve not learned any new tactics here that blow me outta the water (I’ve been marketing for over a year now and have read every friggin’ eBook under the sun), Uber Affiliate has sure as hell given me alot to think about.

  34. December 8, 2007

I learned that doing a guest post on Shoemoney.com will do wonders for your reputation and income. :D

  35. December 8, 2007

Really nice entries guys, so hard to pick one. It’s great to see how many people are learning important things from this blog too. The winner I chose was Kyle, who’s response started with “Not to give up when testing many offers and they all fail I’d say…”

He pretty much hit the nail on the head. You can fail 100 times, but that 101st time can be when you hit it big.

There’s still another $100 to give away so stay tuned.

    1. Network with more people in the affiliate marketing arena so I can build a quality team with good backbone support in lots of areas.

    2. Continually test test and test some more designs, phrases, and ad copy on my campaigns to get them to maximum efficiency.

    3. $4000 in monthly income from affiliate marketing via PPC campaigns

    4. Stay open to new ideas and be ready to accept constructive critisism from professionals who have already gone through the pits.

    5. Begin to leverage my profits by reinvesting in other profitable ventures and continue to grow my affiliate business.

    6. Buy paul a milkshake or coffee sometime and pick his brain :)

    7. (this is actually pre-2008 :) Get that adwords voucher and GET TO WORK!!

–Paul, your blog has been invaluable to me, I didn’t start really doing work in AM until I read it, thanks for all the info and looking forward to meeting you someday.
