Add me on SphinnSo MarketLeverage is continuing their crazy spree of blog advertising and is giving all these different blogs prizes to give away. Most places out there are doing a “1 point per comment” or “whoever makes me the most referral revenue” type contest out there. I’d like to do something that’s going to help all you guys out too. First let’s go over the prizes, MarketLeverage is throwing some in and I’m also contributing myself :
1st place
- $200 Rewards gift card from MarketLeverage
- An iPod Nano (may be a touch, I’ll keep you updated)
2nd Place
- $100 cash from me
- A ML Flip Mino video camera
3rd Place.
- $50 cash from me
- A ML USB flash drive pen
How do I win
Now onto how to actually win the prizes. In order to win, you’re going to have to simply write an article. The article must be the mistakes you’ve made in affiliate marketing, and what you learned from them. I’ll be writing one of these articles up myself, only I won’t give myself and prize haha. I’ll choose the winners based on my top 3 favories.
It’s a great topic though that can help us all, so we may not make the same mistakes you did.
The deadline for article entry is Monday, June 23. That’s one week.

Hey Paul - I’ve sent you an email about this - but do these articles have to be new articles, ie. written from today onwards? Or can we submit older articles published in the past few months that are on this topic?

If you have an older article on the subject that YOU wrote, you can submit it.

Paul you’re quite smart, many people will send their articles and even you might learn something of them without having to look for things you should NOT do on the internet. Nice, keep up the good work.
Btw, I’d really like to see a video tutorial that will just show a mini mini campaign from start to end. Because sometimes I don’t really know where to start with affiliate marketing. I’ve some campaigns running, but not yet that big profitable one I’m looking for.
Would be nice to see some video posts :)

Well, first I said that this contest will get him a lot of articles that would be very useful for him and for us, thats a win-win situation. And he doesnt needs to do anything for it :)
Secondly, I would like to see a kind of video tutorial. On how he makes campaigns himself, from begin to end. Just to get inspired :)

Sounds great. I have one I did a while back that I will re-write since it was a dumb mistake that should be avoided lol.
Looking forward to reading the “tips” from others as well. Are you only going to be publishing the few winners or also be posting the other good ones that have good “don’t do” tips?
I definitely like this type of contest rather than all the “point” ones going on :)
